Weekly market: In Este the weekly market is held in the mornings of Wednesday and Saturday, throughout the year, from 8:30 a.m. to around 1 p.m. On Wednesday the market is positioned in Via Matteotti and in Piazza Maggiore while on Saturday the area extends beyond Via Matteotti and Piazza Maggiore, also to the Piazzette Trento and Trieste, Via Pescheria Vecchia, Via Massimo D’Azeglio, Via Principe Umberto (up to the intersection with Via San Martino), Via Ubertino Da Carrara and Via Vigo di Torre (along the walls of the Carrarese Castle) with over one hundred stands selling their wares. The market offers a wide variety of merchandise, including clothing and footwear, fruits and vegetables and all kinds of food and gastronomical specialities, household goods and haberdashery, flowers and plants and much more.
Street Markets: ATTENTION, please: the market is temporarily suspended until until the date to be announced as soon as possible. The Street market for antiques and used collectibles is held every third Sunday of the month in Piazza Maggiore and Via Matteotti, with the exception of the months of August and April, if the third Sunday coincides with the date of the event ‘‘Este in Fiore’’. To participate as an exhibitor you have to submit the application to be issued a permit to the multi-purpose desk (Polisportello) of the Muncipality of Este. For further information please contact:

By car, bus or camper:
From Padua: take the A13 Bologna-Padova in the direction of Bologna and exit at Monselice; continue on SR10 in the direction of Este
From Vicenza: take the A31 Valdastico Highway in the direction of Rovigo and exit at Noventa Vicentina; continue on SP247 in the direction of Este
From Rovigo: take the SS16 Adriatica until Stanghella; continue on SP42 in the direction Solesino-Este

By bus line: For the bus timetables, visit the website FS BUSITALIA VENETO. From the bus terminal in Via Martiri della Libertà you are just steps away from the Carrarese Castle, Piazza Maggiore and the historic centre
By plane: VENICE: Aeroporto Marco Polo (Tessera). From here you can reach Este in the following ways: by taxi (journey time approximately 60 minutes) by booking the service at the number +39 0429 603867; by bus (a regular bus line provides service every half hour from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. on working days and with different times on Sundays and public holidays from the airport to the bus station of Padua; from here you can take the Padova-Montagnana bus line); By train (a bus service goes from the airport to the Mestre railway station and from here you can take the train to Este). Campers are authorised to stop in all the car parks as long as the vehicle is resting on the road with its own wheels, without emitting its own outflows and without occupying the roadway to an extent exceeding its own dimensions, at the rates laid down for each area assigned as parking space. At the entrance of the central car park P1, in Via Principe Umberto, a CAMPER-SERVICE point is available.

The municipal swimming pool of Este is available to swimmers and water enthusiasts of all ages, all year round. For some years the summer park has been inaugurated, equipped with bar, beach area, slides, children’s playground, football field and Beach Volley court.
